class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tahkoluoto offshore wind farm Extension project<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Tahkoluoto offshore wind farm Extension project consists of forty wind turbines of over 15 megawatts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Extension project is expected to be built in 2028\u20132030. The total capacity of the wind farm will be 600\u2013840 MW.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<div  class=\"contact-cards lg:mx-16 wrapmb-8\">\n\t<div\n\t\tclass=\"flex flex-wrap flex-col sm:flex-row \">\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\">Project steps<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Environmental Impact Assessment for Tahkoluoto Extension project was carried out in 2020\u20132021.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The land use plan was approved by Pori City Council in November, 2022.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mets\u00e4hallitus, the state enterprise that manages state-owned lands and waters in Finland, and Suomen Hy\u00f6tytuuli&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/hyotytuuli.fi\/en\/metsahallitus-to-lease-water-area-to-tahkoluoto-extension-offshore-wind-farm\/\">signed an access right contract<\/a>&nbsp;by which Mets\u00e4hallitus leases the public water area off the coast of Pori Tahkoluoto to Suomen Hy\u00f6tytuuli for wind power production in January, 2023. Perustuskonsepteja yhdist\u00e4\u00e4 se, ett\u00e4 ne ovat painovoimaisesti meren pohjassa seisovia, niin kutsuttuja GBS (Gravity Based Structure) -perustuksia.
